Each video’s captions are retrieved independently — if a video has public captions they are fetched instantly from YouTube; otherwise the audio is automatically processed through our secure transcription service. Failed items do not block successful ones.

Step-by-Step Guide

   Open each YouTube video you want to transcribe and copy its URL from the browser address bar. Aim for videos that have captions enabled or are under 60 minutes for the fastest results.

Tips for Best Results

• Choose videos with captions. If a video already has manual or auto‑generated captions on YouTube, the transcript appears almost instantly and uses no audio processing resources.
• Keep batches to ten or fewer. Processing more than ten videos at once can slow down the queue. If you have a large library, split it into multiple batches.
• Use shorter videos first. Videos under 30 minutes process faster and are less likely to hit transcription limits on the free plan.
• Review the results. Auto‑generated captions occasionally mishear technical terms. A quick scan ensures accuracy before you use the transcripts in production.
